About me
Hi, I'm Lyndsey. I'm a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with a Master's degree in Counselling from the University of Alberta. I bring over ten years of experience in education and mental health support, working closely with teens, adults, parents, and couples navigating anxiety, relationship stress, burnout, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. I work with LGBTQ+ relationships as well as non traditional relationships. I look forward to connecting with you.

My path into counselling grew from years of supporting individuals and families through complex life challenges. I've seen how heavy life can feel when you're carrying everything on your own - and how powerful it is to have a calm, supportive space where you can finally breathe and feel heard.
My Approach
I offer a warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental space where you can talk openly and feel understood. My approach is client-centered and tailored to you - drawing from evidence-based therapies including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), Emotionally focused therapy (EFT), EMDR, and trauma-informed care.

There is no "one size fits all" in therapy. Together, we focus on what matters most to you and move at a pace that feels manageable and supportive.
Who I Work With
Many of my clients are:
-feeling overwhelmed or emotionally exhausted
-navigating relationship challenges
-balancing parenting, work, and personal stress
-experiencing anxiety, depression or burnout
-wanting more clarity, confidence and connection in their lives
-Neurodivergent
-LGBTQ+
-in diverse relationships

If you're feeling stuck, stretched thin, or ready for change, you don't have to work through it alone.
My Background
Before becoming a counsellor, I spent many years working in education and mental health support roles. This experience allows me to deeply understand the pressures faced by parents, teens and professionals balancing multiple responsibilities. I believe therapy should feel supportive, practical, and genuinely helpful - not intimidating.
